Event: African Leaders Exchange (AFLEX) Youth Forum
We are proud to announce that Africa Youth Innovation and Technology Center (AYITC) was selected as one of six leading organizations to co-organize and facilitate the groundbreaking African Youth Climate Justice and Peacebuilding Forum in partnership with AFLEX (African Leaders Exchange).
Key Forum Highlights:
- 300+ youth leaders from 25 African countries participated
- Interactive sessions on climate technology solutions
- Peacebuilding workshops focusing on youth-led initiatives
- Policy recommendations developed for African governments
As a core organizing partner, AYITC led critical sessions on:
- Technology-driven climate solutions for African contexts
- Digital tools for environmental monitoring and advocacy
- Youth innovation in sustainable development
“Our participation in this prestigious forum underscores AYITC’s growing influence in shaping Africa’s future through youth empowerment,” stated, AYITC Executive Director. “We are committed to ensuring that young Africans are at the forefront of climate action and peacebuilding efforts.”
The forum culminated in the “African Youth Climate Action Declaration,” which will be presented to the African Union and various national governments, with AYITC playing a key role in its development.
