This are some frequently asked questions of our services and products.
Who can participate in AYITC programs and services?
Our programs are designed for African youth aged 15-35, including students, graduates, early-career professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Specific programs may have additional requirements, but most are open to anyone with passion and commitment to technology and innovation.
Are AYITC services completely free of charge?
Most of our core services including mentorship, career guidance, workshops, and advisory services are offered free of charge. Some specialized programs like incubation and advanced training may have minimal fees or require commitment to ensure serious participation, but we offer scholarships for those in need.
How can I apply for the Business Incubation program?
You can apply through our website by submitting your startup idea, business plan, and team details. Applications are reviewed quarterly, and selected startups receive mentorship, workspace access, investor connections, and ongoing support for 6-12 months depending on your growth stage.
Do I need prior tech experience to join your training programs?
No prior experience is needed for our beginner programs. We offer courses at all levels – from basic digital literacy to advanced technical skills. Our Learning Pathways guide you from foundation to advanced levels based on your current knowledge and goals.
How does AYITC support program graduates after completion?
We provide lifelong support through our alumni network, including continued mentorship, job placement assistance, networking events, and access to funding opportunities. Graduates also gain priority access to new programs and can return as mentors to support new participants.
What makes AYITC different froOther tech training organizations?
We offer a comprehensive ecosystem approach – not just training but also incubation, mentorship, funding access, and community building. Our focus on both technical AND soft skills, combined with our strong industry partnerships, ensures our participants are truly job-ready and innovation-capable.
